My career in Physical Therapy began with a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado-Anschutz. After that, I completed further training to become a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist. While working at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic I received an Endurance Athlete Rehab certification, started their Running Sports Medicine Program, and co-founded their Bike Fitting program.
Before I began my career in Physical Therapy I served in the US Navy as a Search and Rescue Swimmer. While there I also served as a personal trainer, both training future swimmers and the rest of the command. Prior to this I ran Track and Cross Country for Western State College. During this time I also received my Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification from the NSCA.
Currently, I treat in the Colorado Springs to South Denver area. I live in the area with my fiancé, Emily and our dog, Beignet, or Benny for short.
